The contemporary Chinese political discourse (CCDP) has been continuously evolving for the past couple of years. There was a time wherein the political discourse of China had a hierarchical structure. In the founding of People’s Republic during 1949 to 1978 the discourse happening majorly focused on the class struggle wherein there is a fight between the society and the bourgeoisie. The discourse only became open and covered multiple facets during the economic reform that took place in 1978. China has been experiencing globalization. The country mainly focuses on the ability to address the concerns with social equality and global security. In order to properly resolve those specific concerns, it is necessary for the country to take into account the fixing of historical and cultural concerns or they could create a new one.

China has been known into opposing the ability of other culture to affect their own because of their need to preserve it. The CCDP has been focusing in trying to repair the damages of the past colonization of other countries. The inability to interact with other culture was due to the fact that they are suffering from a humiliating experience of subjugation over foreign power. Until now Chinese have been stubborn into accepting such culture in their country. That is the reason why the United States could not entirely dominate the international politics, economy, military, science and technology, education and international communication. The CCDP mainly focuses on the ability to nurture the political discourse happening at home. However it also addresses the ability of the government to resist dominant abusive countries. China has been an established critic of western countries especially at times wherein there is a necessity for everyone to enact a certain policy. China consistently pointed out the inability of western countries specifically the United States to admit their insufficiency in providing a fair discourse.
